Prayer for our Animal Friends

Beloved God, with reverence for all of creation, we ask for your divine grace to be dispensed to our animal friends. We ask on behalf of our special animal companions your Blessed care and healing power to take away any suffering they have. Please give us, their human friends, a new understanding of our responsibilities to care for these beloved creatures. They have trust in us as we have trust in you; our souls are on this earth together to share friendship, affection, and caring. Take our heartfelt prayers and fill any sick or suffering animals with healing Light, please strengthen them to overcome whatever weakness of body they have.

(Please bless _______________.  Mention the names of the animals needing prayer).

May goodness be blessed upon every living thing and God’s grace flow to all living creatures. From our souls to theirs, may goodness flow, touching each of us with the reflection of your love. Grant to our special animal companions, happy and healthy lives. May we have good relationships of understanding, and cooperate to bring harmony and peace to each other’s lives. Please watch over our animal friends until they are held safely, protected in the eternal light, where we hope to join them in giving honor to all life, forever.

Beloved God, Thank you for blessing us, and guiding us to be at one with your eternal light.

To All of God’s Creatures,

I Love you. I am Sorry. Please Forgive Me. Thank you.

    Hello, fellow cat lovers!!
I have a method of dispensing flea treatment for cats, that I wanted to share. My vet told me about this, he knows my never ending battle to save $, yet treat my cat colony, the best way possible. I buy the largest dog flea treatment package from Frontline or Pet Armor (you can only use this brand for cats). I put the liquid in a vial with a rubber stopper. I have syringes that the vet gives me, and you withdraw .4 ml for under 9 lbs. and .8 ml for over 9lbs. cats .Then, you remove the needle from the syringe (it just twists off) and you have just a little opening at the end of the syringe. As your cat colony lazes around the yard , basking in the sun, you just squirt it between the shoulder-blades. I know sometimes this can be difficult if they run off, I still have one or two that I haven’t won over. But you can treat the majority of them and most importantly, you can get 4-5 treatments out of one of the three packets in the box!! The only downfall from doing it this way is the liquid evaporates in the vial if you don’t use it all up at once. Usually, that is no problem for I can always find 4-5 cats laying around to treat.
